This website does not use cookies.
That is not a turn of phrase: it is literal. We set none at all, neither our own nor third-party, which is why you will not find a window asking for your permission. Here we explain why, and the exceptions you should know about.
What a cookie is
A small file a website stores on your device to remember something between visits: that you are logged in, what is in your basket, or to count how many people come by. The law does not only cover cookies: it covers any storage on your device, including what browsers call localStorage and sessionStorage.
Why this site does not need them
Because it is a static site: ready-made pages the server sends as they are. There is no private area and no session to keep, no basket, no analytics or tracking tools, and the fonts are served from our own domain instead of being requested from a third party. Without any of that, there is nothing that needs storing on your device.
The exceptions you should know about
Two things on this site connect to outside services. Neither happens unless you make it happen:
- The map on the contact page. It belongs to Google, and loading it gives Google your IP address. That is why it does not load on its own: there is a button, and the map appears only if you press it.
- The links to WhatsApp and Instagram. Nothing connects until you click them. Once you are there, each service’s own policy applies.
What about the videos?
The background videos are our own files, served from our own domain. They are not from YouTube or Vimeo, so nobody is told you watched them. It is also why they are not downloaded until their section appears on screen.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or any tool that needs cookies, this page will be updated and a consent window will appear, with the reject button at the same level as the accept one, as the Spanish Data Protection Agency's guidance requires. While this page says there are no cookies, there are none.
How to control them yourself
Even though you will not find any here, it is worth knowing that every browser lets you block and delete cookies from its privacy settings, and browse in private mode so none are left when you close it.
